Director of 2010 Festival Commission wins top award
For IF:2010, Milton Keynes-based company Dancing Brick were commissioned to present the UK Premiere of a delightful new outdoor performance ‘Spinning’ which played to audiences throughout the 10 day Festival.
Co-Artistic Director of Dancing Brick, Thomas Eccleshare, recently fought off strong competition and nearly 900 other playwrights to win the 2011 Verity Bargate Award for his first theatre script, and will take up a residency at the Soho Theatre in London.
The Verity Bargate Award is Soho Theatre's biennial search for an extraordinary play by an emerging writer.
