Presented by The Stables in The Spiegeltent
DJ Dedication - aka sonic genius Janek Schaefer - brings his box of classic 7" vinyl records (remember those?) from the 1930s onwards and invites children to pick out their favourites or have a random lucky dip, so that he can play what they select (although he promises no Agadoo . . .).
Designed to capture the lost innocence of childhood, this is a great opportunity for the children of today to explore the music of yesteryear.
Eveyone can choose, handle and play the vinyls and discover something new, that's actually rather old - classic disco, retro pop, funky groove, electronic dance, nostalgic children's classics and some eccentricities for good luck!
Add disco lights, a bubble machine, lots of stylish young disco-ers and you have the perfect pop event for everyone under the age of 7 (accompanied by adults, who will secretly enjoy re-living the glory years!).
